Meet Our Executive Chef
Chef Eric Ives
Finding his culinary passion early in life, Chef Ives has always loved cooking. While studying for his bachelor’s degree in culinary nutrition and dietetics, chef was inspired by spa cuisine, using only the freshest ingredients to make delicious, health-conscious meals. After school, chef split his time working in the biodynamic garden and in the kitchen for The Lodge at Woodloch, a top destination spa resort. Ives became chef de cuisine, hosting private dinners inside the garden, as well as performing culinary nutrition demonstrations for the guests. During his first visit to Magee Homestead, chef fell in love with the property, the farm-fresh, ranch-raised ingredients, and the intimate number of guests that would allow him to personalize each dining experience. Great food and company make memories that last a lifetime, and moments he knew he wanted to help create for others right here at Magee Homestead.
